Mr. Sullivan is an Associate Managing Director of Verit Advisors LLC. Throughout his 30 year career he has served as principal, investor, director, operating manager, partner, and financial advisor to public and private companies including growth capital companies, ESOP owned companies, small and large businesses, and turnarounds. Mr. Sullivan currently serves as an Independent Trustee of the Illinois State Employees Retirement System. He is also an investor and member of the board of directors at Mark Shale, Insignis, Inc. and O’Tech Corporation. Since 2006, Mr. Sullivan has served as strategic advisor and investor at Kaleidoscope, Inc. Mr. Sullivan has served as adjunct professor at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management teaching experiential learning since 2003. From 2007 to 2008 he served as founder and member of the Board of Directors at Artisan Inks, a specialty ink manufacturing company. Mr. Sullivan also has served as a Strategic Restructuring Advisor / Chief Restructuring Officer in multiple restructuring situations, and advisor for capital acquisition.
Mr. Sullivan began his career in finance as an employee with Ernst & Young in 1978. There he worked as a member of the Financial Advisory Services team providing corporate finance, valuation, restructuring, and litigation support services. Mr. Sullivan was also a member of the executive committee of the Ernst & Young Management Consulting team responsible for the European consulting business. He later became the Managing Director of Ernst & Young’s European multinational consulting business unit. In 2000 Mr. Sullivan served as Vice President at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, a large global publicly-held Paris based consulting and information technology services company, responsible for the European manufacturing and multinational corporate business.
Mr. Sullivan received his Masters of Management Finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his B.A./B.S. in Economics & Accounting from Holy Cross College, Worcester MA. Mr. Sullivan is also a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
