Managing Director Mr. Myhran has broad industry experience with particular expertise in the consumer products, education, ethanol, financial services, household products, plastics, specialty retail, transportation, and travel-services industries. Mr. Myhran serves on the advisory board of a Minneapolis-based private equity sponsor and he previously served on the board of directors of a $100-million privately held plastic film and sheet manufacturer. Mr. Myhran has published several articles on mergers and acquisitions and valuation-related topics in national and regional financial and trade journals, and has spoken frequently on these topics. Mr. Myhran holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University. Myhran is also a chartered financial analyst (CFA). |
Brooks Myhran has more than 25 years of investment banking and valuation experience executing mergers and acquisitions, going-private transactions, and recapitalizations, as well as extensive valuation experience providing a wide range of sophisticated financial services, inlcuding all manner of fairness opinions, solvency opinions, and ESOP and non-ESOP appraisals and related valuation consulting. Previously Myhran founded Orsus Advisory Services, LLC. Prior to that Myhran was a managing director of Lazard Middle Market (formerly Goldsmith Agio Helms where he had been a shareholder prior to the sale of the firm) for 17 years. In addition, he was an officer and shareholder at Duff & Phelps. He joined the Verit Advisors Minneapolis office in 2012.
